01Is FairTaxi available in my city?
Dublin first. Cork and Galway follow once driver supply and the local support team are ready. We'd rather launch one city well than four cities poorly.
02How do drivers get paid?
Riders pay the driver directly: card in-app, cash in the car, or the driver's own SumUp. The fare clears to the driver's Stripe Connect account. FairTaxi never touches ride money.
03What is the €50/mo subscription?
One flat platform fee. No per-ride commission, no technology fee, no booking fee, no hidden charges. €50 a month and that's the bill.
04Is the fare fixed?
The fare shown is an estimate based on the NTA's standard metered pricing. The final fare is what the driver's taxi meter reads when you arrive, the same as a hailed taxi.
05Are drivers checked?
Every driver holds a valid PSV licence, current NCT and current insurance, verified against the live NTA register before their first ride and re-checked at every login.
06Who handles customer support?
A Dublin-based team, humans on phones and in writing, for both drivers and riders.
